In 1934 it came to the notice of the press that BMW had introduced a 6-cylinder car, which had been doing well in competition. In 1935 AFN announced that they would be assembling the BMW cars under license and they were to be know as Frazer-Nash BMWs. Up to 1939 several models were introduced.
